Modern Concepts, Inc. is a family owned small business, based in the Panhandle of Florida specializing in custom hardwood flooring and treads.  Our skilled craftsmen are there to ensure your home or project is completed to our high quality standard. 

Hardwood Flooring:  We are certified with the NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) for installation as well as sand and finish.  Over the past several years people have started to move towards the  greener, more eco-friendly lifestyle. To keep up with the modern concepts we deliver environmentally safe hardwood refinishing,  and subfloor preparation installation.  We also use a full line of products that are GreenGuard Certified and eco-friendly, keeping your pets, children, and household healthier. 

Our projects range from mid-level to high-end installation.  We specialize in the custom and unique but are more than willing to do any type of standard installation.  From inspiration to installation, we will be there to help guide you to making the best informed decision.

What We Offer

We decided to invest into better floor sanding equipment and dust containment systems.  The end result is a great sanding job with a near dustless process in your home or office.  We also use safer and cleaner hardwood floor finishing products that are certified for indoor air quality such as Bona, or a zero VOC like Rubio Monocoat.
